Meet Kim
Kim holds a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, NB, and a Bachelor's in Social Work with an Indigenous Specialization from the University of Victoria, BC. She is registered as a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCPA) and Counselling Therapist (ACTA), certified as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP™), and a Registered Massage Therapist (NHPC).
Nâtowihowin is a Cree word which roughly translates to 'someone who holds space for others to heal...or to find a medicine of healing space.' My late grandfather spoke Cree as his first language, it is in his honour that I chose this name to best describe what I strive to create in my counselling & body work practice.
The logo was created by @giantsilkmoth to represent the process of transformation, growth, and new life that is possible in one's journey of healing.
